Chemical Tales 


​This is a collection of pieces I wrote while the Beacon Reader online site existed. I wrote chemical "biographies" of compounds that were important in industry and other applications, or just interesting in their own right. I explained who discovered the chemical, its original intended use, subsequent uses, its economic value, its biological effects and health risks from exposure. This was really fun to do, but as with most fun projects, it wasn't self-sustaining.
